Horse Race

Hose racing is considered somewhat trashy in Japan.
So I was suprised to see young girls and families fully dressed up for it here.

Back In Tokyo

I just got back from NY to Tokyo.
Thank God it's warmer here.

NY defenitely is a very interesting city.
I was suprised that the city, even just Manhattan, is composed of totally different areas.
You can be in the word's most luxurious apartments in Upper East Side, then just walk a few blocks to see half-destroyed buildings in Harlem.
It's almost as if you are in another country.
You have a choice to take a dirty subway, or have a million dollar car hired.
The city itself, as far as I feel, isn't rich at all.
The rent is skyrocketing, and people are constantly looking for a job which pays them better.

Taiwan Day 1

We arrived late in Taipei, and went to check out the night market. It was quite exciting.
Cheap clothes and food.

Omotesando

Omotesando is one of my favorite areas in Tokyo. There are many little restaurants and cafes with outside terrace for summer.

Tonight, I went to a very nice Thai restaurant for dinner, but resisted myself from having a dessert there.
Look what I had instead!

London Blast

Today was supposed to be one of the most romantic days of the year...

Tanabata, also known as the "star festival", takes place on the 7th day of the 7th month of the year, when, according to a Chinese legend, the two stars Altair and Vega, which are usually separated from each other by the milky way, are able to meet.

Souffle

Wherever you are on the earth, one of the most important things in life is who you have around you. Just as how the chocoloate source enriched the hazelnut souffle that I had tonight, life gets so much more sweetened.
